According to some people, Bhutan is a word that is derived from the 'Bhu-Uththan' of Sanskrit, which literally means higher zzxdsds land. According to some, it is a very bad form of Bhat-end, i.e. the end of Tibet. The resident of Bhutan is called Drug-Yul which means Azadah's country and its residents are called Drugapa. Apart from this, Bhutan has many names in early times. At the end of the seventeenth century, Bhutan embraced Buddhism. In 1865, the signing of the Sinkulu Treaty was signed between Britain and Bhutan, under which a few annual grant contracts were made to Bhutan in exchange for some land boundary. Under British influence, there was a monarchy established in 1907. Three years later another agreement was reached, under which the British agreed that they would not be indulging in internal affairs of Bhutan but the foreign policy of Bhutan will be decided by England. After this India got the same role after 1947. Two years later, in 1949, under the Bhutan agreement of India, India returned it to Bhutan's entire land which was under British rule. Under this agreement, India played a very important role in Bhutan's foreign policy and defense policy.

Although there is some dissatisfaction with minority communities of Nepali origin living in Bhutan, who are against the imposition of Bhutanese culture on their culture. Nepali Bhutanese who are opposed to this system are forced to become refugees in Nepal and various parts of India. Nearly one lakh in East Nepal and around 30 thousand Bhutanese in India are living as Nepali refugees. They are cared by the Nepal government by meeting the refugee national high commissioner. Bhutan's monarchy is a small and prominent country in South Asia situated on the Himalayas. It is a land lock country situated between China or Tibet and India. The local name of this country is Drug Yule, which means the country of Azadah. This country is predominantly hill and there is only a small flat land in the southern part. It is culturally and religiously linked to Tibet, but in view of geographical and political conditions, this country is presently close to India.
