Seed-node and backup block logs

A couple of days ago, I was transferring my public full node Whaleshares , and noticed that the synchronization did not get any fast, getting blocks from other nodes so it goes very slowly.

I decided add to the common piggy bank and my seed-node, can come in handy :sunglasses:

wseed.kidw.space:2001

Also advise you periodically backup files block_logs files from the blockchain folder (witness_node_data_dir). In case of moving or failures, they will be useful to you.

Just put them in the desired directory before starting the node.

For example, my backup on Dropbox. Download files in the right folder, so as not to waste time and do not overload seed-nodes

wget -P ~/whaleshares/witness_node_data_dir/blockchain https://www.dropbox.com/s/khgw8gixvl2yeqd/block_log.index https://www.dropbox.com/s/5pf27lkla6b3buc/block_log

And launch the node in the replay option (blockchain synchronization) adding to the start command --replay-blockchain

Just in case, I remind the address of my public node:

https://wls.kidw.space
wss://wls.kidw.space
also working, however, very soon, with the update of nodes to the version 0.2.7, the protocol of web sockets will be removed and only http will remain

If you have such an opportunity, you can raise your own full node (a small guide from me), to enhance the stability of the Whaleshares Blockchain

I would appreciate your support of a my witness @kid-witness on the page wallet.whaleshares.io/~witnesses
