Witness Update Report #01

We would like to welcome you to our first official ADSactly Witness report. These reports will serve the purpose of keeping you, the Whaleshares community, informed and updated with the latest news and witness activity. We also want to feature other witnesses from time to time and give you an update on what they are busy as well as a look into people or group and how they are supporting the Whaleshares community.
We'd also like to use these reports to explain to new users what the role of the witnesses is, and the importance of ensuring that every user has a good understanding and the importance of voting for a witness.

The current status of our witness sever which went live less than a month ago, has so far been absolutely great, with no issues and no downtime. It has been running smoothly and is producing blocks and so far we have not missed any blocks. We are currently at the number 36 position on the witness vote list, and we would like to thank everyone who has voted for us, we really appreciate the support. Whaleshares Witness News

There are many exciting projects being conducted by the whaleshares community witnesses at the moment. We'd like to highlight a few right now to show you what we mean:

1.) bHive Curation Nation - @bhive

bHIVE Curation Nation is a curation hive of hand selected curators that swarm the Whaleshares platform seeking great content to share and reward. Each curator has their own "specific" theme they focus on. The initiative is giving out WLS rewards worth more than $4000US per week to start.

2.) KrazyKoin - @krazywitness

Few have done more for the Whaleshares platform than @krazywitness. We have regularly participated in the conversations and discussions in the Whaleshares discord server and have seen and participated in the fun lotto contests that @krazykrista does on a daily basis. Beyond that simply the interaction of witnesses with the community plays a big role in building it and so we would like to congratulate @krazywitness on doing such a great job in this regard!

3.) MET Business Community - @met

This community group is really setting a good precedent for the types of community building activities we'd like to see on the platform going forward. They are constantly engaging in posts, encouraging people to use the 'met' tag for business related posts and rewarding high quality content on the Whaleshares platform. Beyond that they have one of the most organized operations we have ever seen and publish a weekly curation report so users can see all the great content they are promoting.

Our Thoughts On The Whaleshares Community

These are just some of the wonderful community witness efforts taking place at the moment on the Whaleshares platform. If you think things are great now on Whaleshares, just wait until the new frontend website is released which has cautiously been labelled Whaleshares 2.0. We are unsure about the timeline for this release but have heard rumors circulating that it wont be long now!
