Total number of Posts | 60,103 | 82,726 | 118,156 |
We all know Whaleshares is not about reputation, therefore it is not displayed on the platform. It is however still present in the code. As it is not taken in account on the platform I have added "Virtual".
The Curation/Posting Rewards are rewards an account has earned from the start. Same goes for Highest number of posts. Total numbers of post is what we all created together, it takes posts and comments into account. The #thebeast challenge has boosted this number a lot so it seems.

These are just fun facts. Some accounts have not used just the link to an image they found online, but inserted the complete Google search link. That is why the high numbers come from. More and more people are adjusting their name. The use for it is limited to the header of their blog, but who knows, maybe it will used in a different way in the future. These stats may be removed from future posts as they do not change a lot.

Unclaimed Rewards relates to the whalestake that has arrived in your wallet but no added to your whalestake balance yet. Some people wait, some people just haven't been online, some people may even be to unfamiliar with the system to know what to do. Bandwidth kind of speaks for itself, when you post or comment or interact with the blockchain in any other way, you using bandwidth. The account with the most vesting shares just holds the largest amount whalestake of all accounts. And with that it can reward the highest reward of all.

Highest Number of Followers | 362 | 434 | 515 |
Discord Members | 1,268 | 1,442 | 1,615 |
We are growing and it is great to see that people also engage more too. The average number of followers is still going up. Unfollowers, that number increased a lot too, I can only imagine it had something to do with an incident that was posted about. No need to go in to that again. The account with the most followers has 515 followers, not bad. Whaleshares is all about community, that shows how the number of members on Discord, keeps up with the number of accounts.
1These accounts reward posts, but do not create posts, or comments
2These accounts have no activity after creation
3Adjusted for inactive accounts
Number of Accounts per Whalestake Range

4000.01 – 5000 | 29 | 35 | 48 |
5000.01 – | 199 | 219 | 245 |
The ranges are randomly picked and may change in future posts. The first range, 0.01-1, holds the accounts that have just been created, or never been used, they have less than 1 whalestake. The next range, 1.01 - 100, holds the accounts that have more than 1 but less than(or equal to) 100 whalestake, and so on.
From these numbers you can see there is a large number of accounts still just beginning. It also shows people are slowly moving from one range to the other.
Whalestake Range | Number of Users in Range | % | Total Whalestake Amount per Range | % | Avg Whalestake Amount per User per Range |

5000.01 – | 253 | 8.5 | 9,844,022 | 91.0 | 38,909 |
The above table of ranges should match the first table of ranges, but there are slight differences. These are due to having to recalculate the numbers because there was some doubt on correctness. Rerunning the script results in a new snapshot and with that in numbers that differ a little. The idea is still the same. The table show how many whalestake the total number of accounts within that range hold.
The number that stands out most is, 8.5% of the accounts hold 91% of the total amount of whalestake present on the platform.
These stats change the moment someone interacts with the blockchain, it is just a snapshot.
