Something that went horribly wrong in Steem/steemit was the dramatic fall of curation, BIDBOTS yes those bots where every one started delegating and to a couple of big accounts and got liquid sbd/steem... Well that killed off more than 50% of actual eyes of content.

Since you don't have to read peoples post and curate content you like you let a bot use your SP to vote on what ever it gets thrown its way... sure there is a White-lists and even Blacklists but still you are aiding on voting "stuff" you don't even care about let alone read it.
