📘 Day 1 Now in the Record Book

What a tremendous first day and a great start to the future. There were a few small issues through the day, but the witnesses ran without a hitch and a it was surely a success.

We on boarded many new members over the last 24 hours. All of the issues were user induced and not issues with the process or platform. The most common issue was trying to use the claim process to create an account from a Bitshares account that was not part of the sharedrop. However with the great support of the launch team all the difficulties were investigated and resolved in a timely manner.

At one point there was detection of some unscrupulous account generation activity and the development team reacted quickly to prevent any further activity. Part of addressing this issue was to raise the price of instant account creation from 1 whaleshare to 10 whaleshares. However, there are still many members with whaleshares that are committed to helping onboard new members and are donating the necessary whaleshares. People looking to create an account who do not have whaleshares should reach out in the whaleshares discord for sponsorship.
