I'm happy to announce that my witness node is up and running!

Currently located in New York.
And running smoothly on 1GB ram

These requirements will grow as the blockchain grows, and I will scale accordingly.

I have to admit, it's fun watching the blocks fly by

It's a fun, challenging and exciting experience learning how to set up my first node.
As someone who has never done this before- it only took 8 or 9 hours to figure out.
That's with the help of guides! I'm a slow learner, I know hahaha

After finally learning all the nuances, I had the opportunity to help others set up their nodes, and test the tools that will make it easier to get new witnesses up and running quickly and easily- Within an hour in fact!
A great improvement from my first attempt, don't you think? xD

I will be very busy in the coming weeks to ensure the success of whaleshares and everything it stands for.
