Iowa Weather Turns Brutal

As I look at the thermometer today, I can't believe my eyes. We are experiencing -30 F (-35 celsius) air temperatures, with real-feel hovering around -50 to -60 (around -50 celsius).

We have frost forming on the inside of our windows and our heater is struggling to keep up.

Here is a picture of our backyard.

No school yesterday or today, but we are hoping to go to school tomorrow, although it may be a late start.
