Few weeks ago, the Unity account was introduced to Whaleshares. I'm sure you'll need to check that out for a more detailed info about the @Unity Witness account managed by @erodedthoughts.

There are many reasons to start a witness and this one was started to help keep the community focus which makes us love whaleshares so much. Community focus means that the smallest newest account has the same value and voice as that of the largest account. There should not be a top down occurrence when speaking to any witness about the platform. Things should always be done for the health of the platform not for those with the most tokens. We all witnessed those methods followed on Steemit and we need to do everything we can to avoid repeating those same mistakes.

As indicated in Introducing Unity Witness, the vision goes beyond bridging the gap, it extends to Securing the Blockchain by Building Stake; Supporting Projects for the Community by Giving Whalestake; focusing on User Growth, and lots more.

What we need for a stable platform is Unity, because Divided we will fall, united we can not fail. The importance of this cannot be overemphasized.

I have personally had an interaction with the witness @erodedthoughts and I find him absolutely worthy of the witness vote. The first time I had an encounter with him was during the beast challenge organised by @merej99 of @lexiwitness, he as a community person was and is always ready to help despite his present unfavorable state. As someone who has a huge heart, he deserves so much love.

It's such a nice thing that others have witnessed to his awesomeness such as the immortal man on the blockchain, @immortal-tongue who wrote about The Deep Immortal Mind Of The @Unity Witness. It takes one who walks through the realms of immortality to comprehend these deep things. Hehe, just kidding... :smile: But Kindly check it out for yourself and see more reasons to do the needful.
