Welcome to my blog as this article would focus on Peace its ingredients.

WHAT IS PEACE?

Peace is a situation in which there is no form of disagreement, fighting, violence, political or religious crisis, or civil disobedience.

Peace exist when there is unity and cooperation between people in a society.

Where there is peace the society is unworried, happy and calm.

IMPORTANCE OF PEACE

1. Peace leads to rapid growth and development.

2. Peace makes the economy settled for local and foreign investors to invest.

3. Peace allays fear and worries.

4. Peace promotes relationship between people, states, nations, tribe , race and the world at large.

5. Peace brings about unity and cooperation.

6. Various sector of the society are productive when there is peace.

7. Peace give the government the assurance to carry out their plans.

WAYS OF PROMOTING PEACE

1. FAIRNESS : When all members of the society are treated fairly without favouritism, tribalism or racism, everyone is happy. Unequality and unfairness causes murmurings among people which can lead to voilence. Fairness should be a standard in the society to enhance peace.

2. SOCIAL JUSTICE : No one should be above the law as everyone should be treated according to the law. The government, constitution , law should not place some laws over some set of people. The law should be binding on all.

3. ** TOLERANCE** : People should be able to understand that we are humans and we have different beliefs, understanding, religion and opinions which should be respected by one another. We should be able to persevere and accomodate one another.

4. HUMAN RIGHT : The fundamental human right of the people should be respected. Many at times, the law enforcement agencies goes awire and misbehave thereby trampling on People’s right.

5. COOPERATION AND UNITY We should preach unity in every given avenue. Unity is the major key to a peaceful living.
