Last day of #thebeast challenge - Day 10!

As I know I should have done this earlier but because I was trying to hit the 500 comments mark (but in vain) I have just decided to fulfill all 10 days posts. At least I know I tried.

For those who has started following me in this challenge you would have learned about the story of Patches a.k.a _Hua Lian (花脸) and her kitten that I encountered at the porch of the old shack that I stayed before I moved out.

If you have not read the stories, please feel free to check those out below:

And today, taking on @photochallenge 's #wednesdayphotochallenge incorporated into #thebeast challenge, I would like to show case you Patches up close, before she last say good bye to me with her well grown kid and disappeared to deliver her new batch of life.

_Meeeeooo...

Her familiar call for food is always something I have grown to it and looked forward to see her the moment I returned from church and got my car filled and to come home for some lunch.

(At the time, I decided to return home to my hometown to check on my parents and left for a 200+ km ride early in the morning just to catch the 11am service)

This time, I came home prepared. And she knew something's up while she waited for her cat biscuits and milk that I have started regularly providing for her.

When she noticed I took the camera out first she decided to play my sandals just for me to take a nice shot of her.

How thoughtful of Patches indeed.

And as usual, Patches wouldn't let me even walk a step further even though she's hungry and knows that the food is inside the house as I had to put down my camera. She is in a really good mood that day as I guess she has finally caught up with me since I have not seen her for a week. My housemate said she has been stopping by but I just wasn't at the house.

So, excited, yet hungry she is, I get to make her wait at the door patiently as I went into the house to get my camera and cat food, and though she is always camera shy, I got to take a few nice shots of her during food; and I think she was even complaining that I took too much (look at picture 3)

My neighbour who's a cat lover was pretty amazed as she told me that usually female cats are not as playful and clingy as Patches and I told her that she was the very same stray that almost starved to death a few months back with her kitten. She was surprised how fluffy she is compared to the previous condition and she is guessing the young jet black male that has been wandering close by but never step into my porch could be the once feeble kitten.

I am so glad that both mom and son are now doing so well ever since.

Even though I only saw Pad Foot (her kitten now a male cat) right before I moved and Patches was never seen every since.

So after feeding her well with cat biscuits and a little bit of milk, Patches has agreed to "pose" more for me, but she was weary of the other cats that was around my place that wanted some of her food.

And here is one she is just right at my feet, stopped for a few seconds when my neighbour was talking to me and I managed to get one good shot at her before she starts swirling between my calves again. It turned out to be a really nice artistic look when I changed the colour to mono effect.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this post and seeing Patches (first and last) posing as much as I have enjoyed preparing it.

Until then
