If anyone tells me that Leeds United would be in this position, I would have denied it because of how exciting that team is. Marcelo Bielsa brought them into the Premier League and they have been exciting since then. I love how fluid they are in attacks and how they are not afraid to take on any opponent. They are not scared to attack and irrespective of how talented your squad is, they are ready to take you on. It's the fearlessness for me because I enjoy a team that is young, exciting and never afraid of taking risks even if they have to lose in the end.

Unfortunately, they couldn't get the results they needed this season and they had to sack Marcelo Bielsa as a result of that. They managed to steer clear of the relegation fight but now they have been dragged right back into it and it's not looking good for them at all. They lost 3-0 to Chelsea last night, thanks to Mason Mount, Pulisic and Lukaku and they lost Daniel James to a red card too, a reckless challenge I would say. It's a tricky end to the season and with 2 games left to play, I don't think they can pull up a miraculous escape, especially with Burnley managing to grind out results lately.

Nothing is a certainty when it comes to the Premier League but their next games would be against Brighton and Brentford and I am not sure they can get a win against any of these two sides. Brighton proved how strong they can be this season and they fired themselves up the table much to the admiration of onlookers. Their victory against Manchester United showed how clinical and dangerous they can be and it's not by fluke that they have moved up the table.

They might get a result against Brentford, maybe a draw at least but Brentford are not to be pushed over too. They have a mixed season...they have won important games and lost quite a few you'd expect them to win too but it has been a wonderful season for them and they are not going down which is a massive plus.

I don't know what would happen to the players when they go down to the Championship but a lot of people have seen how exciting some certain players are and I am afraid they would lose some of their key players to Premier League teams. I hate to see Leeds United go down but there is nothing that can be done for them at this point other than for them to win their last two games and hope with luck that Burnley and Everton won't get the results they craved for.

The defeat against Chelsea would leave them vulnerable again but in a relegation fight, I don't think they need extra motivation to get themselves fired up because once they look at the possibility of going back to the Championship, it's an extra motivation for them to stay up and fight for as long as they can. A lot went wrong during the season and the pressure is much now for the to salvage that season by staying up.

The beauty of the Premier League is that these two games can help them stay up if they win and it might also not make a difference if the others above them keep getting the results too. Every game matters in the Premier League and they faltered all through the season when it mattered, so now, they are working their socks off to redeem it in the best possible way.

In all honesty, I don't see Leeds beating the drop. Burnley has shown that they are not ready to go down and Everton has been adding the points in their games which makes it a bit harder for Leeds.
