Manchester United have been sensational on the road and their mettle was tested again by Aston Villa. They weathered the storm and made another comeback thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood and the in-form Edison Cavani. United are now unbeaten in their last 25 Premier League away games. They won 16 and drew 9.

United have won 10 Premier League matches after conceding first this season and that's a record by a team in a single season. They have also recovered a whopping 31 points from losing positions and it was only Newcastle United that recovered more during the 2001 season when they got 34. United are well on their way to either match it or break it.

It's bad news and good news for Aston Villa. Declan Rice is back into the fold and Villa has lost 8 home games this season. Only Sheffield with 13 and Fulham with 11 have lost more.

Villa got off to a flying start despite United bossing the possession. Douglas Luiz found Traore in the box. His first touch took him into the box while he held off Lindelof. His lovely strike found the back of the net to give Villa the lead in the 24th minute.

Douglas Luiz gave away a penalty when he brought down Paul Labile Pogba in the box. Pogba managed to stay on his feet the first time and Luiz clumsily brought him down in the box. Bruno Fernandes was tasked with the penalty duty and he buried his chance by sending the goalkeeper the wrong way in the 52nd minute.

4 minute after, the come back was on set when Mason Greenwood scored his trademark goal. Wan Bissaka found him just inside the box. He brilliantly turned and drilled home a shot into the net, 2-1. He has scored more goals as a teenager for United than any other player. What an impressive career he is having.

United put the game beyond all doubt when Rashford provided a perfectly weighted cross into the box and Cavani matched it with an equally brilliant header. That made it 8 goals in 7 appearances for El Matador. He came on as a substitute and then registered his presence in the 87th with a goal.

Ollie Watkins compounded Villa's woes when he was booked for simulation. The referee booked him and had no choice but to send him off since it was his second yellow card of the day. Villa lost 3-1 and also lost Ollie Watkins to a red card.

United have confirmed their place in the UEFA Champions League for next season with that win. Impressive second-half showing by United turned the tie in their favour.
