Hi, friends!

Young Finn and works M-Sport Ford driver (with paid seat?!) announced today on Twitter that he will he another co-driver from the next season. Ex-Hanninen's co-driver Mikko Markkula is no longer Suninen's co-driver and he is another one who lost his job after this season because Paula Nagle and Krs Meeke parted their ways earlier. That means that Markkula and Nagle are now free agents on the WRC market.

Suninen's manager is well known Finn Timo Jouhki who represents all the bad we have today in World Rally Championship - as paying seats for drivers in the works teams and splitting all their future contracts salary. He's the guy who took possible McRae's seat for 2004 when paid for Hirvonen a seat at Subaru. Not good.

Jouhki really represents all the bad in sport these days. But he found a nice talent on the way and it's a young Finn Teemu Suninen who drove for some time with Ford Fiesta R5 and then stepped into top class of the sport - WRC.

He had pretty nice results this season, in the season when he is still learning. He has some potential for a wins but is he a championship material?! It has to be seen in the future.

So, Marko Salminen will be his co-driver in season 2019.. We will closely look at his future results, that's for sure.
