I decided to make some changes to my fitness and lifestyle just after Christmas, and took up running on the 28th December
I now leisurely try and get out 3 times a week (work and family permitting) and do anything from 3.1 miles (5km) to 6.1 miles (10km)
I found a new 5 mile route today which was a real treat.
I've driven along this route loads of times but never done it on foot.
Derbyshire is such a beautiful place to live in, but we sometimes miss all the nature and lush scenery whilst I'm driving
it's just lovely to put on the running gear and go for a leisurely jog.
So, why not go out and give it a try? you may even find that you like it too.
