A.C Bhakthivedanta Swami Prabhupada is the Founder of International Society of Krishna Consciousness(ISKCON), more commonly known as the "Hare Krishna" Movement which started back in 1970's.

Today I went to a Multiplex in Mangalore to watch a movie about him called Hare Krishna. I have to admit that it was one of the most awaited documentary in the indian community and the film don't disappoint us one bit. Hence, I do recommend everyone to go shell out some of your money and watch this movie as it's totally worth it.
It was in 1965, When Prabhupada took a ship to America to follow his spiritual Guru's Desire of spreading the name of Supreme Personality of Godhead Krishna without any backing of a Religious Organisation or Money. During that time,Americans had a huge set back after Vietnam war, which gave birth to Hippie Culture which was inturn based on Psychedelic Drugs and Nomadism. This Movie was about how Prabhupada influenced and changed lives of these Hippies to making them a better human beings and Devotees of the supreme personality of Godhead. The Hare Krishna Movement not just influenced lives of these Hippies , but also some famous personalities like George Harrison,Poly Styrene,Steve Jobs,Alfred Brush Ford,Allen Ginsberg and Don Foose.

The Film is Produced by Ace Indian Director Rohit Shetty and Directed by John Griesser. Here is the Movie Trailer.
