(an old air conditioner cord - $3.45 worth of copper inside it)

I have been buying WLS for quite a while now and have recently dumped almost all of the liquid into this account to reward people for scrapping and salvaging in their everyday lives. So far it has just been myself and @ijmmaiwitness that have made posts about it which is sad. People should be recycling, upcycling, repurposing, whatever you want to call it, and they should be posting about it. There is so much stuff going into the landfills that is still useful for someone and it would be nice if we could do something about it. People are struggling to come up with things to post about and here I am giving you ideas with guaranteed rewards.

What are you waiting for?

Not only can you earn a bit from the post but you earn from selling your scrap. Win/Win.

You also earn a lot of knowledge and self-respect, which is worth it's weight in copper. Win/Win/Win

(found a set of new tire chains in the dump)

Those tire chains had been around a while but had never been used. They were a perfect fit for a friend's truck so I gave them to him but I could have sold them for $50 easily. There are all kinds of benefits to being a scrapper, but you need to experience it for yourself. Even in the smallest way.

So here is what I propose. Go out and take a photo of something you could scrap. You don't nhave to scrap it, but just find something and take a photo of it and post it with the tags scrap and salvage. You do that and I will send you 100 liquid WLS so that you can join the pod.

If you are already a pod member, I will tip you 200 WLS and send you 100 liquid WLS because you have already taken the initiative to join.

But wait!

If you actually scrap the unit, and have already joined the pod and posted the initial photo, I will tip your post about scrapping it with 1000 WLS. If it's just you picking up the unit and taking it to the scrapyard, post a photo of the unit at the scrapyard and your receipt. If it's just you scrapping it at home, take photos of the steps as you break it down and what you find. A good example is this post by @ijmmaiwitness on stripping down the coffee maker. You don't need that much detail but there has to be at least a few photos of the different steps.

(just a good dump day)

Don't forget that the @scrapandsalvage pod will also promote every eligible post as explained here.

BTW, did you think I was giving the million WLS away? Haha, don't be silly. You didn't really think that, right? Come on, you can tell me.
