Every vision can only be fulfilled by strategic planning. To plan you need reasoning. You can't plan without your mind. You need to engage your brain. If you don't subscribe for mental work, you will subscribe for menial jobs. Engage your brain, it is the key to gain.

In everything we do in life, we need to always go for an upgrade. Knowledge can be updated.

Planning is the act of deciding before hand, what is to be done, when it is to be done, how it is to be done and who is going to do it. It is an intellectual process which outlines your objectives and develops various causes of action.

Steps To Strategic Planning.

Know What You Want:

Do you know what you want to do? What is the one thing you want to achieve this year? A lot of people want to do so much in so little time. The thing is, you need to avoid taking on a whole lot. The danger of taking on many things is never achieving anything.

What "tower" do I want to build this year? We need to ask ourselves this.

Be Intentional About It:

To be intentional means to be purposeful. You must intend to make your vision happen. Don't just write it on paper. Be intentional about how you use your time, your choices, what you read, where you go, how you live your life and who is in your circle of influence. Any choice that wot advance your vision should not be taken or be an option. Stop being bothered about what people think but about what it takes to achieve your vision.

How To Sustain Your Intention?

You have to be intense or be passionate about the things you want to do. You have to involve both your brain and your emotions in what you want to do or what you are doing. Make an energy audit and ask yourself, "Is your energy used in the right direction?" "Does your passion help build your tower?"

Do An Assessment:

Count the cost and there is a price for the prize. Everything worth having has a price tag on it. Everything worth anything cost something. Do you have the resources and the qualifications to achieve that vision? The purpose of assessment is not to discourage you but to enable you mobilize the things you don't have and also build capacity for what is needed.

Every great planner must be a great reasoner. Life is practical and not mystical. Brain work make things work. Count the cost. Sit down with your vision. Let your vision produce. Let what you carry make sense out of you. Your true image is your product and not your posture. It is always about what has come out of you.

Don't abandon your big dreams because your capacity is small...rather mobilize for it. Everyone who has achieved what was big didn't have what it took when they started.

Don't just have a vision on paper, give it expression. This year, finish what you started. Abandoned projects brings about mockery.
