Light is in God. Showing our back to God means we are facing darkness.

Acts 26:18 KJV
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

It is clear that the cause of all evil is Satan.
All evil happen because we have turned our face from God and face Satan.
If we understand the intent of God, we will found something good in what is happening. We have to blame ourselves for what is happening and not others. What is happening is as a result of our sins.
