What are these WLS tips in Discord?

An overview for the new folks.

When I started this clan it was to try and get Whaleshares members playing Raid but nobody seemed interested. I was writing posts about Raid and nobody understood what the posts were about and it seemed very lonely. I was buying a lot of WLS (Whaleshares cryptocurrency token) so I decided to try and get people into Raid by rewarding them with free tokens for joining. There were a lot of gamers on there but nobody wanted to get into the game I love.

So I pivoted to try and get Raid players that were joining the clan into Whaleshares so we could have a community there and I wouldn't be so lonely. We got a few in but they eventually left the clan and then I started my business so that took all of my free time. Everything kind of died off but the clans kept building and now we are at the point where we don't have to open up Whales each week to fill it from the public pool. Even Dolphins is staying quite full and there are actually people in Minnows that are in the clan discord server and waiting to get into Dolphins. That's when I realized that there are very few people from when we started the clan that are still here.

Then @m0ssa99 reminded me that I am tipping people in discord and they have no clue what all of these 5 WLS tips are and that all of the daily stake rewards from the @raid pod account are building up in the tip jar. There is almost 24000 WLS at the time of writing this. There is also over 5000 liquid WLS in the account.

It's doing no good in there so I am going to try and entice my clanmates (Minnows, Dolphins and Whales) to open a Whaleshares account so their tips actually go to their account. For anyone that opens one I will put 1000 WLS in your wallet as stake and 200 WLS in liquid. At the end, if there is any left I will split it up between any accounts that were opened by clan members, minus a few thousand to save for tipping any Raid content.

Wait, you still haven't told us what Whaleshares is.

Well, this is whaleshares.io. Where you are reading this.

Whaleshares is also a Proof Of Stake blockchain that creates a cryptocurrency token called WLS. That is what I have been tipping you all with. Well, not all of you but every time you see this...

...it is putting 5 WLS into your account through discord. The problem is that you don't have an account. The money can't really be used anywhere, until it goes into a Whaleshares wallet where it can then be staked, sent to an exchange and traded or sent to somebody else.

@m0ssa99 has built a pretty elaborate system in the clan discord that allows you to create an account using tips that you have in your discord account that have accumulated over time. Check this link.

To see how many tips you have type >me in a dm with @whales in the Killer Whales clan discord server. He is on the right hand side but if you want some entertainment you can just tag him in any question in general and he will answer.

This is what it will look like except different.

I don't know what "step pe like" means in real life but here it means your tip amount when you use an emoji reaction to someone's comment in discord.

So you are also tipping each other whenever you use a positive emoji on someone else's comment in discord. Just so you know.

Anyhow, it is pretty complex when you get into it but simply put, Whaleshares is a social sharing cryptocurrency platform and blockchain. If you are interested in earning a bit of cryptocurrency for sharing your posts then I or @ijmmaiwitness (@just me in the clan discord) would be happy to explain more or you could check out the @tutorials account where you will find most everything you need to get going.

I'm sure that I am missing a lot here but I know gamers and their attention spans on non-game info so I will wrap this post up. If you don't have enough in tips to make an account, let us know in discord and we will make sure you do.
