The mind that knows how to listen swiftly with the ears will have more advantage than the mind that talks loosely with the mouth and listen-less. Over the years, ever since my mental state began to acknowledge good and bad I have come to realise that the ears that's swift to listen somehow mimicks the sensory habit of a dog's ear.

We all know the dog to be man's best friend and a smart pet at large; If we observe this beautiful creature, the amazing thing to take note of is how attentive their ears are even while they are asleep or hibernate their body to rest. The dogs are blessed with strong ears and can pick any silent sound — while sleeping, any disturbing sound that wakes them — for a stranger, their mouth and teeth will do the unbelievable or unimaginable but to a familiar face, this creature will race towards the person in welcoming, shaking it's tail.

What am I driving at? There's a reason every human has two ears and one mouth. Some people are slow to listen, quick to speak with their mouth, very destructive with it and on the long run ignore the effect of the unforeseen risk it may have on them. We all know, spoken words once said at that instance can't be reversed, changed or altered. In it raw form, once it proceeds from the mouth, it becomes immutable, it can't be edited immediately it's uttered. For any havoc that follows suit, the best solution recommended is to address the diseased words with any spoken remedy. In most cases an apology does the healing.

What am I driving at? We should pick one salient behaviour from the dog if we want to inculcate the virtues or habits of a slow talker when it comes to listening. It's apparent the dog will get hostile after listening to disturbing sounds incited by a stranger or arise in joy to awe-mazing notifying sound produced from a familiar face — we should cultivate the habit of using our ears to listen swiftly and respond effectively-slow with our mouth to any situations (good or bad) like they are producing awe-mazing sounds. We should refrain from situations that are like strange faces with disturbing sounds, if we get carried away and listen to the waves of this sound, there's no way we won't be loose with our mouth.

Always remember, there's a reason we have two ears to listen MORE and one mouth to speakLESS
