Rat Race

The kids are plotting to push me aside so they can take over posting in this/their account. Not gonna happen though! I need them to focus on school work for now; there would be time enough for them to explore the blockchain soon. Hopefully, they'll become crypto gurus in the near future...lol. I love the fact that they are so interested in the blockchain already. Both of them are trying their hands at poetry right now and I would be posting their literary works here from time to time. Below is a poem that was written by Juwura last night. It was more of a jumbled rant inspired by her house chores and school assignments. She had spent the entire afternoon playing with her sister despite my admonition and only began to rush through her responsibilities late in the evening...lol.

It's a rainy night
There's a dog waiting to be freed
Assignments needing to be done
Notes needing to be read.

I'm all messed up
How will I finish it all at once
At 10:30 at night

Now I've released the dog
Done my assignments
And read my notes

Then there's more to do
When will this nightmare end
But they must be done

I wake up to find out it's all a dream
But then I find out
I actually have to do it all
