And waiting for her husband's work Gray.

And on a frosty gray hair

Elusive Quiet Bird

Towards a glowing spring

Her breath tends.

И зажигают фонари,
Когда едва начался вечер.

И под ногами лёд и соль
Лениво спорят, кто сильнее,
А у окна сидит Ассоль
И ждёт с работы мужа Грея.

И по морозной седине
Неуловимой тихой птицей
Навстречу тлеющей весне
Её дыхание стремится.
