Skyfall: Back In Time

For a moment
Even if only for a moment
I was on cloud nine
Looking down at the sky
The view was amazing.

Then all of a sudden
Like a rushing wave
I saw myself falling
I fell for what seemed an eternity
But then it stopped.

Everywhere is dark
My eyes are open
But I can't see a thing
It's just as if they weren't open
As if I was blind.

Then a thought comes to my head
What if I was blind
What if there's light everywhere
And I'm the only one that can't see it
What a scary thought that is.

I yell for help
As loud as I can
After a while, I listen
I'm listening to hear
To hear something, anything!

Another thought comes again
What if no one's around
What if no one heard my screams
Or what if I only screamed in my mind
And my mouth has been shut this whole time.

But then I know I did scream
Just as I know I ain't blind
But I still don't know, if I'll get help
If anyone would come to my rescue
If I'll be saved from this dark abyss.

So I remain
Hoping and praying
For fate to smile on me
And send me an helper
One that'll reach through this darkness.

And bring me back to the light
This might be a fools dream
But it's all I've got
For without this hope
I'm sure I'd give up.

And as much this hurts
As much as it's dark
And I can't see a thing
I still wanna be alive
I want to see the sun again.

I want to breath fresh air
Hear the birds sing
I want to go back up there
To where I came from
To cloud nine where it all began.
