Paths with stones and thorns
I thread on them with hope and guns
Hope as strength, gun as guard
Helpless and ignorant
I journey to the world of adults
Father is a drunkard
Mother cared less about my existence
Young and innocent
I took on whatever I saw
Loved the slangs
Fell in love with the freedom on the street
Drank as much as I wanted
Money is made from stealing and sex working.
Pleasure and pain
Peace and chain
Moments when I want to cry like the child that I was
That was a weakness on the street so I dared not
Friends and enemies
A must we must make
Love was forbidden
Lack of love brought us here
Getting money isn't necessary but surviving is
Love and soothing
That is all that we plead for
Hugs and embraces
All that we thirst for
Father's love and mother's care
All that we care for
The street child has a story
One that humans with roof over their head don't know of
That street child was once beautiful
Until society and the street initiated them
To the cold-dorm - a place
For the survival of the fittest

Thank you for your time.

My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.

Still me,

My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.
