Have you ever gotten to that point where you feel all alone by yourself?
You want to lock yourself up and attend to no one
Sometimes I want to travel to a land so far away from the reach of humans
Where I can always wake up to the chirping of the birds and the abundance of nature
I want to forget about all I have known of humans and culture
I want to leave behind wasted emotions and unnecessary dramas
I want to forget what politics looks like - a clean slate
I wish I can know how it would feel to be free
Free like a bird - taking flight away easily from troubled regions
Saving my strength for the flight away from human annoyance
Provoked by a heart that loves troubles rather than peace
There is always a need for moments of reflection
To understand where you are and where you are headed in a direction
Who wouldn't want to be dead to old ways and be birthed anew as with resurrection?
There are people you knew who you wished you can un-know
Places you have been which you wished you didn't thread
Hearts you have given to others which you wished you didn't care
There are some steps you have taken that you wish you didn't allow
Just as we have some choices we wish we could have taken differently
There would always be regrets and a desire to never have changed what we once did
We might never be able to go back in time but we can turn things around now
What we have is now just as yesterday is forever gone
Reflect on your choices and do what's best for your heart
