Things have started to die down stress wise for me. I've been on Okinawa for a week and a half now. I have the Garmin Fenix 5 sports watch, and one of the things it does is measure stress. On the 3rd when I checked out of where I lived and headed down to the airport it was reading my stress level that day as 67. Under 30 is good. Then the next 2 days of travel it was at around 76. Then once I got on island it started going down. I just wanted to share a few photos I've taken on my phone so far.

... Hmmm, this new phone does not have the greater and less than sign that let's me center photographs. So bear with me.

We went to a Lantern Festival last weekend. It was really neat. I took photos with my SLR and will be able to edit and make a post about it once my household goods are here. It was neat though. Lots of lanterns and there was a whole row of ones that people made that we got to vote on.

My cat and dog are still at the kennels here. Wish we could have them with us, but we are still in the hotel. We get keys to our place on Friday night and can move in on Saturday, yay. The homes are SO small here though. I did not know this and I dont think all of our stuff is going to fit in it.

Transportation has been taken care of! I got this little square car for $3500. Cars here are pretty cheap compared to the states. I picked it up yesterday. Went out to the mall tonight to buy some cool little decals to put on my windows to help differentiate from all the other square cars.

I did not but this decal, but it made me laugh so hard when I saw it. My daughter was the one that pointed it out saying she's scarred now.

Went and played some Pachinko with a friend. Put 1000¥ ($10) in a machine and left with over 11,000¥.

We went to a Yakiniku place for lunch and it was awesome. Look for a future post on this place! It was super good and you cook your own meats at the table.

This is a neat place to walk around with a lot of great food and fun shops.

So for some of the other things going on. I'm planning on doing a Friday Foods post each week with some of the interesting and yummy things. It is one I dont really need my camera and desktop since my phone seems to take really good food photos.

Once I get my desktop and can actually edit and get the photos off my camera, I plan on doing a weekly randomjapan or adventuresinjapan post. I want to be able to go out and get some random shots out here.

Also, I've thought about doing like a weekly geocache hunt post. Bring my camera along and shoot things I find as I'm finding new places.

I'm still up in the air about selling my gopro. The money for it would be nice and can help pay off my new camera. BUT, it kind of would be cool to take and go snorkeling and get some underwater video.

Anyway, hope you all have an awesome night/day! Sorry for not being as regular as I was when I first started posting. Once I get settled, I hope work isn't too much and I can share a steady flow of experiences. ;)
