Last night we ended up going and trying another restaurant. This week I had planned to post my Yakiniku photos and talk about that. @Derangedvisions just made a post about one like that here. Also @waybeyondpadthai had one that looked yummy as well here.

This place was so much fun! The tables have a little fryer in the middle and you fry your own food at them. I had no clue what we were doing. We'd load the fryer up with food and sometimes it would pop burning oil out. Who wouldn't want a little danger with their meal. It was only later as I walked around to see Japanese families eating that there was a little lid thing you put over it to protect you!

It cost 2500¥ ($24) for adults and 1000¥ ($9.50) for kids for all you can eat for 90 minutes. There was a ton of things to choose from. Vegetables cut up and poked on sticks, and lots of meat/seafood options to choose from.

You start of getting a thing of sauce (I called it the glue) and a thing of tempura breading.

There were about 8 different sauces to choose from. On this plate I had a 'spicy' sauce that wasn't so spicy, ponzu sauce, and then one called cheese sauce. It didn't really taste like it was cheese, a little more like a ranch sauce. That one ended up being my favorite. It was awesome.

After you got your sauces, batter stuff, and sticks of food it was time to throw them all in the fryer. Besides not knowing about the oil shield thing, I would put the sticks after cooking on a plate to let them cool down. I saw people setting them on the edge of the fryer which would have been much better than collecting pools of oil on the plates.

The shrimp were SO good! I ate the most of them. There were also these hollow fish cake things filled with cheese that were super yummy. Octopus pieces, scallops, chicken, pork, cheese, sausages, and everything else were all really good. The baby corn things tasted weird fried.

I don't know what this was but I really liked it. It was sweet and had red bean paste in it. Kind of like a dessert thing.

As I was getting more things to fry I noticed they had a soup area. So of course I had to get some. The broth was a weak in flavor. It wasn't really full of flavor. I think it was the thing I liked the least.

Then of course it was time for DESSERT! There was a whole strawberry theme with the desserts. I think it's cause valentine's is coming up.

There was a big strawberry chocolate fountain!

There were flavored marshmallows to put in the fountain and coat.

Then there were a bunch of little cakes and stuff. So we had to try them all. The little rolled strawberry cake thing was the best. Also there was a crepe cake thing with tons of crepes stacked on one another with creme between each one. That was really good too.

Then to finish everything off we had to get the soft serve ice cream. It tastes different than what I've had in the states. Not as thick, tasted lighter if that makes sense. It was good.

This restaurant was tons of fun to go to and eat at. Next week I may share the Yakiniku place if I don't end up somewhere else so awesome. Also have ideas for some other Friday foods as well. I love the Family Marts here. It's a convenience store like a 7-11 or gas station, but AMAZING. I stop in and get lunch pretty much every other day.

Anyway thanks for stopping by! All photos taking by me @yomikibagami. Have an awesome taste filled weekend!
