For those interested in the details....

One of the many pleasures of the Christ-mas holiday is the inspiration that it gives for one's creativity.

Paperwhite bulbs, from the genus Narcissus, are traditionally a favourite floral decoration at Christ-mas time. They are typically planted about six weeks before the desired date of bloom, for some that would mean now is the time to set the bulbs in a planter, if one desires to experience them during the holidays, Once they have sprouted and are ready to bloom they can become quite weldy....reaching for the sunshine....as the drawing and painting demonstrate.

The painting is presented with the goal of illustrating the movement and beauty of Paperwhites/Narcissus in an interesting way.
