Have a nice day! Today we will go for a walk in the Chistyakovskaya Grove of the city of Krasnodar. It is so named in honor of the head of the city, Gavriil Chistyakov, who founded it back in 1900. Many oaks and other perennials are already 200 years old. Its area covers almost 36 hectares. And at the entrance you will see a small engraving with a portrait of Chistyakov and a memorial plaque.

When you get here, you forget about business, just walk through the grove, enjoy the pine scents, listen to the birds singing and feel wonderful. On a sunny day, in the shade of spreading trees, the best rest is in such green groves.

The trees here are very different: linden trees, birches, spreading willows, beautiful maples, and slender aspens, probably 300 species, but I liked the centuries-old oaks. They were even difficult to photograph, they did not fit into my lens.

I also liked this tall monument to the "Sons of Kuban who fell in Afghanistan", which stands majestically on one of the alleys of the Chistyakovskaya Grove. It was erected in 1998 by the sculptor Alexander Apollonov.

And not far from the memorial to the soldiers, there is also this tank on a pedestal, in honor of the Kuban people who died in local conflicts. The infantry fighting vehicle is placed in this place in memory of the servicemen who participated in those terrible military operations... On the side of the BMP is inscribed "67 AK", which means 67 Army Corps. Glorious memory to the heroes!
