I 🖤 Me Wine 🍷

Many of you guys know that I was born Crimea and winemaking in that region dates back to the times of ancient Greeks. Those guys are known for their love for wine. But did you know that I enjoy wine probably just as much? 🍇

Surprisingly, my favorite wine is Italian. Actually, no! There is nothing surprising about it. Italian wine is simply amazing, it's smooth and velvety and a bit tart.

One of the best Italian wines that I've tasted is Amarone. My husband @matt-a knows it and treats me to it every now and then, ain't he a sweetie? Yes, he is!

Amarone is a typically rich Italian dry red wine made from the partially dried grapes of the Corvina (45–95%, of which up to 50% could be substituted with Corvinone), Rondinella (5–30%) and other approved red grape varieties (up to 25%). Valpolicella is in the province of Verona, within the large Veneto region near Venice.
In Italian, the name Amarone literally means "the Great Bitter".
