📷 Photochallenge: Fez Medina - Hard at Work

Hey Adventurers,

Well, it was tough to go back to work after a long weekend.. and I feel like I am playing catch-up with work, with photography, with posting.. ah well.. sometimes I need to give myself a break!

And speaking of catch up I am a little behind on @photochallenge's this week. Sunday to be exact (given it's Tuesday evening here..that's way behind.. like I've got in the Tardis and going back in time to catch up!)

So Sunday's photochallenge is Humans

I took this photo in the Medina in Fez, where the thread was being dyed to weave into some of the brightly coloured cloth that you see around Morocco. He spent a fair amount of time also telling me it would work in my hair..and would be "cheap, cheap" compared to home. I don't doubt it.. but bright pink is not my colour!

It's pretty hard work and rough on the hands, but these workers were always in good spirits and happy to talk and have their photo taken, though they never stopped working the whole while.

Fez was one of the most amazing places in Morocco to visit. the Medina is something to behold. Of course, the Medina was another UNESCO site so that's a big tick on my bucket list!

So easy to get lost in!

Anyway it was so amazing it really deserves its own post.. so stay tuned (as soon as I go through my photos - I took an average of 200 a day in Morocco! lol)
