Hello Everyone, Seasons greetings... I hope we are doing great?

I post is my entry for the contest sponsored by Whaletoken as designed by Stevenmosoes on his blog, - a recap of my year 2018 with achievements and failures inclusive.

Yeah, it's such a beautiful thing knowing that it's seven days to Christmas. The number "seven" stands for perfection, Owh, is that a coincidence? Nah!

A Summary of My 2018 - How it began

Towards the last days of 2017, I set out plans to execute. I had a list of resolutions - things I wanted to achieve for the year 2018.

Amongst these resolutions were: academic excellence, spiritual growth, engaging in self development activities that relates to my intellectual, financial, social and physical life.

We began with prayers, wishes and so on with so much optimism and enthusiasm.

Moving further...

There were a lot of activities that added taste to my 2018 - church activities, school activities, hangout with close pals and family reunion.

Then came Blockchain Technology

To emphasize this aspect, I had to give it a special subheading (as part of my 2018 Blessings). Would I have subtitled it "How the blockchain technology has influenced my life?". Still cool, provided you comprehend the message.

A blockchain meetup with @michaelcj and @motivatorjoshua

I was fully introduced into the blockchain technology early this year by my very good friend, Paul. By that time, the crypto market was booming and the entire blockchain activities were flourishing like a new plant with significant nutrients ever green with awesome fragrance.

Blogging then was interesting as we could pay our bills with the rewards we get (referring to Steemit this time). Did I mention that such it has become non-existent? Not at all!

My experience on the blockchain has been awesome, not just on the aspect of reducing my financial burden, but as well helped build my social life and kept me in touch with the beauty of modern technology.

I'm not that social, but the blockchain made me so and it has built me, as well as taught me how to relate well with people. I guess I should have added this under "my achievements" or probably give it a subtitle.

Another meetup with @edwin23, @mrglows and others

Yeah, that's a good idea. Let's proceed with immediate effect to discuss my 2018 achievements

My Achievements for 2018

Hehe... I really do love this. You must have noticed some traces if you have been reading well. There are already foot prints revealed.

Learning so much, relearning and unlearning with regards to blockchain technology itself is an achievement.

I was able to use some of my rewards here to assist my friends and those around me. I was really happy doing so and I hope to do more in this coming year.

With respect to my spirituality, Urrrmmm.... I was able to grow in God's Word. Fellowshipping with my fellow brethren where I school has really been a good one. Weekly we go for soul searching and radical evangelism, studying God's Word and praying as a family.

There are a lot, but let me stop here. Preferably, I could add one more to the items under my achievements - my Academics.

As an undergraduate from University of Benin presently studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering, I have been able to secure good grades too. I aimed for distinction and I attained it by God's grace. I pray for a greater one, a supernatural increase.

Now, let's deviate a little bit.

2018 and its failures

Ouch! As I'll normally exclaim.

In spite of the fact that there are achievements, there are also failures too. There's this popular saying:

"where there's an advantage, there's a disadvantage too"
I don't know how true though.

Concerning my 2018 and its failures, It's not a long list though, but about 50% of my new year resolutions for this year weren't achieved.

That's a big weakness for me, - inability to properly execute a plan. How can I come out of this problem, any idea please?

There's a higher level I'd loved to operate with respect to my spiritual life and Academics as well, but I'm a bit distant from that altitude. Will 2019 be better?, I often asked myself.

Guess the reply I give. Yes! I'm a man full of optimism and enthusiasm.

Lagos beam meetup, Blockchain Saturday

This now brings me to the end of this recap. Before I terminate it, I want to extend my gratitude to God for His Graces, for the gift of life, love, family and friends. Join me in singing and reminiscing:

Count your blessings
Name them one by one
And it'll surprise you what the Lord has done

My 2019 is definitely gonna be better, full of grace and a lot of good fruits will be borne with so much testimonies to celebrate.

Thanks for reading, I'm... Gracehills!
Warm regards
