Indian Bazaar in New York
I like to call this place Indian Bazaar, but it is actually a supermarket. House of Spice. It surely stands up to its name, they have a large assortment of spices.
Here's my big smile in between those isles and amazing aromas.
I started to use some of these mixes for chicken dishes, didn't try for fish yet.
Powders and lots of grains... Indian cuisine is like chemistry...
OHHH, Jack fruit! I ate this fresh in Jamaica! Must buy one can now.
My friend is telling me these are sweets, never tried them.
Some frozen fish, never tried it, I'm being told it is traditional in Bangladesh.
Organic stuff, I use chili in my cooking, but very little.
All types of breads... Yum...
... and the produce section... who doesn't like fresh fruit and veggies?
Hope you enjoyed my stroll through the Indian Supermarket here, in Long Island, New York, where we can get a little taste of the amazing Indian cuisine.
