Valentine's Day - A Musical Foray
Today, on the Elite Gamer's Discord, we had a quiz about Valentine's Day where we learned things such as: people send 1 BILLION cards every year for this holiday. Single women are likely to buy themselves valentines treats - or even their dog or other pet.
I could have made a list of love songs, but I really wanted to stick to the day itself, so here's a variety of songs for you today. Something is bound to appeal to you whether you are single or in a relationship.

This is such a beautiful song and the video is lovely too - with an interesting take on the old domino trick.

Another beautiful son from one of my favorite singers. The video highlights the highs and lows of having your true valentine. Tear-jerkingly beautiful.
It's unusual for me to feature an audition like this, but this one is an exception.
My Funny Valentine - sung by Alice Fredenham (Britain's Got Talent - 2013)
Slow, beautiful song, she takes on Frank Sinatra as if born for it. It's so moving that it prompts a very unusual response from Simon Cowell.
This lovely (and not single) woman reminds us the idiocy behind some Valentine's Day notions.
I Hate Love Songs - by Kelsea Ballerini
We are beautifully reminded that hearts skipping beats are very bad news. She hasn't given up on love, but just the ideals promoted by Valentine's Day and mushy-type romances. Fun song, give it a listen!
Now we get into the other side of Valentine's Day - for those who do not have a partner - for whom romance is always close to mind, but far away at the same time.

These sweet twins remind us that how much we love/hate Valentine's Day (normally) relies on whether we are single or now. This original song is very fun whether you are partnered or not. I think they did a great job!
