How to add music to Inshot videos

There are a lot of people that use Inshot and I have been asked a few times about how to add music or overdub your voice onto a video. This is a rudimentary explanation of how it's done. If you have any tips or tricks, please leave them in the comments as I'm no expert and like to learn new things.

Before you do any of this you probably want to go to volume and drop the volume of your video to zero.

Once you click there you will get a few options. We are picking music, but if you want to overdub, you just hit record instead.

Now you will have to make some choices. Inshot has some royalty-free music you can use, or you can add in music from your device. I'm not the royalty police, so do your research on what you're allowed to use.

Because this was originally made for Bushdog Scrapper (he doesn't have an account here for some reason), I chose an appropriate title for his soundtrack.

Now you need to hit use and if you already have the song on your device, it will move to adding it to the video but I feel most people are doing this for the first time so we will take an extra step.

Now you need to download it to your device. Notice where it says you need to copy the song info into your video? Do that, but let me know what happens if you don't do it. I'm curious as to whether it's just a suggestion or if they will pull your video down until you do.

There. Now you can see it above your video, You can split, trim etc, just like you do with your video clips. When you have it where you want it, just click the check mark and you're off to the races.

I hope this helped and if not, tell us how it should be done!
