A couple of years ago I had the honour of playing a concert with Canadian Country Music Legend Jamie Warren. I had been hooked on Jamie's music for many years. I ran into him when he was playing a private concert and we ended up chatting, swapped CDs and eventually ended up playing together for a show.

It was definitely a bucket list experience for me and I had a truly great time.

The concert was held in the town I live in at a landmark tourist attraction called The Big Apple. It serves many purposes in my life. Great apple pie and coffee, concert venue and meetup place whenever someone buys something off me on the local buy and sell

The Big Apple is a wonderful local treasure

that thousands of people stop at every year. It is nestled in the heart of apple country in Northumberland County, Southern Ontario, Canada.

Although it is open year round

it has shorter hours in the winter and is a madhouse in the summer. Because it is between Toronto and Kingston, it is the perfect landmark for bus tours for people visiting Canada from all over the world.

It is not uncommon to see several buses

pull in at once. In part 2 we will look at the more of the outside activities available and then head inside for part 3 and so on. It may need another photo trip to get it all!

In case no one told you today, you are beautiful.
