I would like to recommend this old movie, which is not considered a classic, but it is still a wonderful example of a successful movie, a movie that is enjoyable for many people, regardless of age and taste.

It’s about “How to steal a Million”, a comedy since 1966. The main plot of the movie is the theft of precious artistic sculpture. The script is skillfully written and with very discerning replicas, (although it does not offer some wisdom, but the movie is not that). So I do not want to write a short introduction, because I think it will reduce the uncertainty and the funny moments of watching. Especially good humor throughout the movie, I would even say it’s far better than today’s comedies.

The main roles are Audrey Hepburn (Nicole Bonnet) and Peter O’Toole (Simon Dermot). The two are very attractive, have great charisma and are great in their roles, especially Peter O’Toole, who is superb in the comical moments. Together they are wonderful and perfectly suited. In my opinion, Hugh Griffith (Nicole’s father) is particularly prominent, whose scenes are too funny.

The long duration of this movie (around two hours) can be considered a disadvantage, but I think that the beginning, although it is longer, is a great representation of the characters and the story, while the later stage of the movie and of the theft story is irresistibly interesting for viewing.

This movie is easy to watch, it’s is also funny and interesting and I would recommend it to any of you.
