Souls are screaming out for salvation amidst pain
Tears filled their eyes, you can see the stain
Stained faces formed by the tears many have shed
From hungry stomach with no mouth fed
A lot of people are screaming to be delivered
Just a meal a day and they would cherish it
Taking it a day at a time, that's how they live
Not consumed by the worries of tomorrow
They are happy in the present because it's all that matters
A lot of people turn blind eye to the suffering of another
And when those people can't take it anymore, we begin to wonder
A lot of people have been forced to do despicable things
Not an excuse for them but only those in it can feel it
The world is hurting and life isn't getting any easier
Things keep getting tougher as the day goes by
If we can and when we can, we should reach out
Reach out to the hurting - reach out to the ailing
Isn't that the reason we are slightly better off than others?
The world needs more love, enough with the complaints
