What Do You See?

It's sometimes hard to see anything when your vision is blurred. More so, it is even harder to see when tears keep rolling down your face in ceaseless flow and there seem to be no help in sight to stop the tide.

We have all had our fair share of life and life has dealt with us in one way or the other. We have been kicked to the curb. We have been neglected. We have been called names. We have been cheated. We have been abused in one way or the other. We have had ourselves stripped of the shred of loyalty we hung on to. Life deals with us all differently sometimes.

Life didn't come with any manual. We accept the challenges and move on while I admit that some have crumbled under its weight too. We live and learn as we grow and go through life.

Our perspective matters. What we see would determine how far we would go. When life kicks you hard, make sure you do all you can never to fall down on your face. Allow yourself to fall down on your back instead because if you can look up, you can get up.

What we choose to see would determine how long we are going to spend in that problem. If all you see is a failed system without a solution, you might be repeating that cycle. If all you see is pain and hurts without seeing the joy and happiness you can get out of it, those pains and hurts would naturally gravitate towards you even more. We are responsible for our outcomes. We are responsible for how we turn out.

Enough with the blame games. We need to take our matters into our own hands. It is normal for others to act differently because we have different exposures and upbringing. Never expect anyone to act the way you'd act or think the way you'd think. That is just life and what you make out of the things life throws at you would determine how far you'd go. Nobody said it would be easy but you can make it worth it. If it were easy, there would be no Elon Musk nor Steve Jobs that we had. What you make out of it all is your gift to life because it makes others have a better life and have something to look forward to as much as it inspires a desire too.

In the midst of the pains, the hurts, the heartbreak, the dishonesty, the disloyalty and betrayal that you are currently seeing, I ask you, what else can you see? Tell me, how far can you see? The depth of your focus would determine the depth of your thinking. Remember, you cannot feature in a future that you cannot picture.

Life doesn't come with any manual and this is your life, you have to move away from being pitied and do something about it. What would the world miss if you were not born? Think about that.
