"In what ways has centralisation failed us?"

Centralisation is all about control and hierarchy. You have the guys at the top making all the decisions and pulling all the strings, whilst those of us on the bottom run around trying to keep everything afloat. All of the decision making is made at the top whilst we are left to pick up the pieces with no say in how things are done.

Money and power are the main motivators and the main goal for those who sit at the top and rule, so that we live in a world where those in power are also those who own all the major corporations around the world. Those who have the control over our health, are also those who own the pharmaceutical companies and so on and so on.

Centralisation has moved us further and further away from having control over our own lives, in every possible way. The only way we can take back that control is if we choose to live outside of the system and become totally autonomous. Something that seems impossible to so many, because this system has made most of the world's population totally dependant on them, physically, mentally and spiritually. So much so that they hand over their power without a second though.
Centralisation has disempowered so many people, enmeshed them in a system that feeds off of their fears and insecurities, fears and insecurities that have been put in place by the system itself.

There are so many ways in which centralisation has failed us and I wish to start at the beginning, when us humans enter this world. I want to start with Birth!

How far back do you need to go in your family tree until you reach a time when your ancestors where all born outside of hospitals. The whole idea of doctors being present at birth, started with King Louis the something and King Henry the 8th, both of whom really want male heirs and wanted their child born by the hand of a man. This was also why women began to lie down so that the Kings could see their child being born, no King was going to kneel on the ground for anything.

What was seen as good for the Royal Family was then deemed the right way for everyone else. So soon after this birth changed for everyone. Suddenly this sacred act was taken out of the hands of women and brought into the hands of doctors who then eventually wanted only to attend births in hospitals.

Obstetrics is the highest paid medical profession in the world and birth is seen as a huge money maker. Everyone seems to have a hand in it now, pharmaceutical companies are certainly laughing all the way to the bank.

Most women have no faith in their bodies ability to birth, but then most women and men have no idea about their bodies full stop, they have become so detached because they don't need to know, they have doctors who know for them. Women are being told, that they can now bond with their babies through the latest 3D and 4D ultrasounds, how can you bond with your baby through a screen when you are carrying them inside of you, this really goes to show how detached some of us have become from ourselves.

This detachment from self has also really affected our relationship with nature, because now, we can no longer identify with nature, with that side of ourselves that connects us to the whole. Coming back to birth, some women really struggle to let go during birth, to surrender the natural flow of it, why? well because ultimately we need to let go of our logical thinking self and reconnect with the animal inside, the instinctual side of ourselves. But there is this fear that holds us back, because the wild, the animal inside is seen as a negative thing and some reject it outright.

Just look at how the natural world is being treated, how our natural resources are being depleted, only those who feel so detached from nature could allow this to happen. Those who have elevated themselves above everyone else. When we live in a world where the few rule the many, those few are ruled completely by their ego's, fuelled by greed and the idea that they are superior and have the right to be in command. They are totally out of balance and that ripples down into their actions, resulting in a world that is left out of balance.
There are so many other things that I could write about, this is really just the tip of the iceberg. (don't even get me started on the educational system). But I do not want to leave this post on a negative note. Because there are so many of us that are moving towards a more de-centralised way of life. The proof is on here, is with the many people that I engage with who are taking back responsibility for their lives. This is the future and we are all a part of it.
