ACT OF KINDNESS a blackmans contest

So nice to write about something that you did because it makes you feel good and someone else good about it too. :-) The mother of my boss is in hospital she is nearly 94 years old but she does not show it at all, she is a very pretty decent old lady. The only problems she had so far is problems with going to the toilet and her eyesight. But her medication was not balanced out very well, so when they checked her they thought it was all wrong, and they adjusted the medication. Well that was wrong ! she swoll up like a balloon ! I looked at the medication and said where did the get rid of fluids pills go too, but the doctor had not prescribed them. Phoned up the docter who came straight away, and saw it was not good, she went straight up to the hospital. Now that is the best place for her to be on the moment, having a good checkup and being monitored for a few days. I knew she was having problems seeing and came seperate from visiting hours to help her eat, cut her meat up and made her potato small. It did not have to be more then that. 3 days I have done it now so the lady has not sit there on her own. :-) and she is so happy with it! a big smile enlightens her face as she sees me.
I mst say I always have liked being in a hospital, helping people, talking with them trying to be the lightpoint of the day. In the same room as the bosses mum there is a woman who is only 91 but looks much older than bossmum. I had to pick her of the floor and put her in to her chair, I helped her drink cause she could not do it on her own. I was there to help with the lunch for the sweet mum of my boss but ended up helping all. I feel I made the difference these last days. :-) I love this smile :
