Presentación como testigo - "Guardianes de la Blockchain" | Witness Intro - "Blockchain Keepers" (ESP/ENG)
Too often we run after the "hot" investments, without fully understanding the proposals and core "thoughts". I had spent a lot of time trying to feel completely comfortable with the idea of belonging and committing myself to a `social-crypto' network. That's why I present you a bit of myself, some of the ideas I have and, somehow motivate you to realise that together we make crypto a reality.
Hello there crypto-nauts. All of you whom venture in mining, learning, falling and rising stronger every day within the cryptoverse. I take this opportunity to invite you to read the guides in my profile and to contact me whenever you need guidance or help in everything related to crypto coins and the platform.
While it is true that we dream of a much "freer world", we must take action and push our limits to the maximum to see results and to be an example for many people. When I say a "free" world, I think about the following:
- A planet where technology works for us and not the other way around.
- A _place where we can handle our money, tokens and coins as we want without the need for so many intermediaries.
- A space for exchange in which governments support initiatives that decentralize power and money. (Please do not laugh...Ok laugh a bit)
- Finally, a digital space where we can be fair and distribute wealth in the best possible way, giving each person the value they deserve for their time, effort and work.
You may consider me a complete socialist but please don't get confused. I am one of those who believes that making money is vital and necessary but, as long as we do not deceive people and much less use their time to accumulate wealth. Ever since I knew the crypto currencies, I fell in love with them. So much in love that I decided to give up the job I had while living in the UKs.
A menudo salimos corriendo tras las inversiones "del momento", sin entender a cabalidad las propuestas. Tenia mucho tiempo buscando sentirme completamente cómodo con la idea de pertenecer y comprometerme con una red cripto-social. Es por eso que les presento un poco de mi, de las ideas que tengo para sumar en esta plataforma, y así motivarlos a que juntos hagamos de la cripto-era una realidad.
Saludos a todos los cripto-nautas que se aventuran a minar, aprender, caer y levantarse con más fuerza cada día dentro del cripto-verso. Aprovecho la ocasión para invitarlos a leer las guías en mi perfil y a contactarme siempre que necesiten guía o ayuda en todo lo relacionado a las criptomonedas.
Si bien es cierto que queremos soñar con un mundo mucho más libre, debemos tomar acción y empujar nuestro limites al máximo para que podamos ver resultados y ser un ejemplo para muchos. Cuando hablo de un mundo "libre", pienso en las siguientes características:
- Un planeta donde la tecnología trabaje a nuestro servicio y no al revés.
- Un lugar donde podamos manejar nuestro dinero, tokens y monedas como mejor nos parezca sin la necesidad de tantos intermediarios.
- Un espacio de intercambio en el cual los estados apoyen las iniciativas que descentralizan el poder y el dinero.
- Finalmente, un espacio digital, donde podamos ser justos y repartir las riquezas de la mejor manera posible, otorgando a cada persona el valor que se merece por su tiempo, esfuerzo y trabajo.
Pueden considerarme un completo socialista pero les pido que por favor, no se confundan. Soy de los que opina que hacer dinero es vital y necesario pero, siempre que no engañemos a las personas y mucho menos nos valgamos del tiempo de otros para acumular riquezas. Desde que conocí las criptomonedas, me enamoré de ellas. Al tal punto que decidí renunciar al empleo que tenía mientras vivía en Reino Unido.

A night of wonder and possibilities
I was working as a personal assistant to people with disabilities(caregiver). The night was present and I set out to watch an ICO live, as I used to do. Right at the foot of a window while smoking a cigarette, I had my laptop right next to me and I was looking forward to join into the initial coin offer of the Gnosis project. When the time came I tried to buy an amount of tokens for the equivalent of 1 Ether(ETH). I didn't understand what was going on since the ICO had just opened and although I was trying to transfer my coins, there was an error message that hit me. After 12 and a half minutes and more than 30 failed attempts from me, I could see on the project website a message that would literally change my life forever. The message made it clear. The ICO had managed to raise much more money than expected, in a little less than 13 minutes. Twelve and a half million dollars were traded in the initial coin offering. My astonishment was not measured and the only thought that could reach my mind with complete clarity was:

In fact, after weighing my options, I decided to buy a plane ticket back to my home country and start working seriously with crypto coins. Since that day I have dedicated myself to educating people and guiding them towards what I believe has the capacity to change the world as we know it.
Brief summary of my academic training
Many times we realize that we have a variety of knowledge, and it is only when we put it into practice that we can _make it real _. I studied Electronic Engineering in Computer Science and I am a technology lover. I consider that I have the appropriate knowledge to carry a witness and help others on my path. My passion is music and computers. I am an educator by nature and self-taught at heart. I have had endless hours working for others but I have always dreamed of being part of something like this where everyone can be rewarded for their articles, expressions, videos and/or projects that are posted on the internet. In the crypto field I have more than 3 years trading, learning, mining and finding myself into hours or practice.
Una noche de asombro y posibilidades
Me encontraba trabajando como asistente personal de personas con discapacidad. La noche se hizo presente y me dispuse a mirar una ICO en vivo, como usualmente solía hacer. Justo al pie de una ventana mientras fumaba un cigarrillo, tenia mi laptop justo a un lado de mi y esperaba con ansias participar en la oferta inicial de monedas del proyecto Gnosis. Llegado el momento intenté comprar una cantidad de dicho token por el equivalente a 1 Ether(ETH). No entendía lo que sucedía puesto que la ICO apenas y había abierto y aunque intentaba transferir mis monedas, aparecía un mensaje de error que golpeaba mi cabeza. Pasados 12 minutos y medio y más de 30 intentos fallidos de mi parte, pude divisar en la página web del proyecto, un mensaje que literalmente cambiaría mi vida para siempre. El mensaje debajo en claro que la ICO había logrado recabar mucho más de dinero esperado, en poco menos de 13 minutos. Doce millones y medio de dólares fueron transados en dicha oferta inicial. Mi asombro no tuvo medidas y el único pensamiento que pudo llegar a mi mente con total claridad fue:
En efecto luego de sopesar mis opciones, decidí comprar un ticket de avión de regreso a mi país de origen y empezar a trabajar en serio con las criptomonedas. Desde ese día me he dedicado a educar a las personas y guiarlas hacia lo que considero tiene la capacidad de cambiar el mundo, tal y como lo conocemos.
Breve síntesis de mi formación académica
Muchas veces nos damos cuenta que tenemos una variedad de conocimientos, y es sólo cuando los ponemos en práctica que podemos darles un sentido real y verdadero. Estudié Ingeniería Electrónica en Computación y soy un amante de la tecnología. Considero que poseo los conocimientos apropiados para llevar un testigo y ayudar a otros en mi camino. Mi pasión es la música y las computadoras. Soy educador por naturaleza y autodidacta de corazón. He tenido un sin fin de horas trabajando para otros pero siempre he soñado con ser parte de algo como esto donde cada quien pueda ser recompensado por sus artículos, expresiones, videos y/o proyectos que sean expuestos en internet.

Witnesses - What? Why? What for?
A witness is a computer, which processes transactions within a network of crypto coins that is managed through the consensus mechanism called DPos. Let's imagine that at this moment you issue a reward to an post. By pressing click on the "Share & Reward" button, this transaction is processed by the witnesses, whom in consensus and through programming algorithms decide if it is valid or not, among many other things. In addition to defining their validities, they allow this action to be carried out and receive a reward of newly created coins.

Reading this may seem a bit complicated to you, but in reality, it is never too late to learn all that information to know the importance of the witnesses within this digital-eco-system. This way you can decide which witnesses to support and who not support to.
Testigos - ¿Qué? ¿Por qué? ¿Para qué?
Un testigo es una computadora, que procesa las transacciones dentro de una red de criptomonedas que se maneja mediante el mecanismo de consenso llamado DPos. Imaginemos que en este momento emites una recompensa a un articulo. Al presionar clic sobre el botón de "Share & Reward", dicha transacción es procesada por los testigos, quienes en consenso y mediante algoritmos de programación, deciden si es válida o no. Además de definir su valides, permiten que dicha acción se lleve a cabo y reciben una recompensa de monedas recién creadas.
Puede que leer esto te parezca un tanto complicado pero en realidad, nunca está de más contar con toda esa información para saber la importancia de los testigos dentro de este eco-sistema. De esta manera puedes decidir a que testigos apoyar y a quienes no.
Blockchain Keepers
Any currency, project, initiative or Blockchain needs people who have a very clear purpose and can provide various methods to strengthen these ecosystems. They are in charge of watching over and promoting each project or currency. A Blockchain Keeper is anyone who protects and ensures, somehow, that everything goes well using resources, time and money.
That's why since I knew the crypto-social networks, I had the desire to be an active member/witness to safeguard a specific project.
Witness Server
Using the multiple guides offered on the platform and the help of @ijmmai and @baabeetaa, I have been able to successfully set up a witness. Its features are:

Although the current features require a server with fewer capabilities, it's worth thinking about future and that's why I've hired that service. Witness plan
Without wanting to sound too political, I like to think that results are proven by work and execution of good ideas. That's why I present below some of the things I have in mind to make it worth getting a vote of confidence from you.
- Witness account foundation to promote, sustain and support social projects worldwide.
- Unconditional support in the growth and education of new members at WhaleShares. Sharing Education.
- Promoting the platform as true livelihood and reward, based on the value of writing and general expression.
- Create and support of a curation community and continuously, train people about Blockchain technologies.
These four points are enough to get off on the right foot. In this way I put myself into the service of others. I will develop many practical ideas to bring positive solutions inside and outside the platform. Without sounding exaggerated, I believe that with crypto currencies we have the possibility of changing the lives of hundreds and thousands of people. I believe that this network has what it takes to achieve its objectives and make social networking something where it is worth being connected and publishing content day and night.

Guardianes de una Blockchain
Toda moneda, proyecto, iniciativa o cadena de bloques necesita de personas que tengan muy claros los propósitos y puedan ejercer diversas tareas para fortalecer dichos ecosistemas. Ellos se encargan de velar e impulsar por cada proyecto o moneda. Un guardián de una Blockchain es todo aquel que resguarda y asegura, de alguna manera posible, que todo marche correctamente utilizando recursos, tiempo y dinero.
Es por eso que desde que conocí las redes cripto-sociales, tuve el deseo de ser un miembro activo que resguardase un proyecto en específico.
Servidor de Testigo
Utilizando los múltiples manuales ofrecidos en la plataforma y la guía y ayuda de @ijmmai y de @baabeetaa, he podido configurar exitosamente un testigo. Dichas características son:

A pesar de que las características actuales requieren de un servidor con menos capacidades, vale la pena pensar a futuro y es por eso que he contratado ese servicio. En otros artículos estaré publicando guías y manuales para que tengan mucha más información disponible, sobre todo en español para configurar un testigo en la plataforma.
Plan de testigo
Sin ánimos de hacer alusiones a una campaña política me gusta pensar que los resultados se demuestran con trabajo y la ejecución de buenas ideas. Es por ello que les presento a continuación algunas de las cosas que tengo en mente para que valga la pena obtener un voto de confianza por parte de la comunidad en general.
- Fundación de la cuenta como testigo para promover, sustentar y apoyar proyectos sociales a nivel mundial.
- Apoyo incondicional en el crecimiento y formación a nuevos miembros en WhaleShares. Educación del compartir contenido.
- Promoción de la plataforma como un verdadero medio de vida y recompensa, basados en el valor a la escritura y la expresión general a través de esta red cripto-social.
- Sustentación, creación y apoyo a una comunidad de curación y de formación continua en base a las tecnologías Blockchain.
Estos cuatro puntos son suficientes para empezar con buen pie y de la manera en que puedo poner al servicio de otros, todas las cosas que he aprendido y me falta por aprender. Nunca está de más compartirles que contando con los fondos necesarios, voy a desarrollar muchas ideas prácticas para aportar soluciones positivas dentro y fuera de la plataforma. Sin ánimos de sonar exagerado, creo que con las criptomonedas tenemos la posibilidad de cambiar la vida de cientos y miles de personas. Considero que esta red posee lo necesario para lograr sus objetivos y hacer de las redes sociales, algo en donde valga la pena estar conectado y publicar contenido día y noche.
