Hand-Made Book-Shelve for My Child

Hi Whales!

One of these days, a friend brought me a set of wood-planches - obviously details from the former furniture.
Even though there are holes, but they are quite suitable, besides, the Kira is sorely lacking shelves for textbooks and books ...

Having estimated in my mind how the future book-shelve may look like, I set to work. I want to note right away that I have nothing to do with carpentry, therefore, do not strongly criticize the improvised tool and the disorganization of the process)

Having thought up what should be the design, I removed unnecessary parts and proceeded to marking the side racks, to which the horizontal shelves will be fastened directly. I chose a design that, if necessary, can be put on the floor or hung on the wall.

From my own experience I recommend using both power tools and elementary means of self-defense. Due to the fact that the screws were turned with a "tired" hand screwdriver instead of a electrical screwdriver, and even without gloves, the result was not long in coming.

But I am a stubborn man, once put hand on - I need to finish the job!
First I got the following design

But I was not pleased with its transverse rigidity, and in order to strengthen the construction, I added another plank the size of a shelf, vertically, like a back wall. It will be visible on the last photo. I also decided that the shelve would be standing and not hanging, I adapted her clove legs so that it would not scratch the coatings on which it would stand.

The joy of the child - the best thanks for the work done!
