Making a Spicy Omelet with Ghost Peppers from @papa-pepper
This is more about community than cooking, but the omelet was delicious!
In my travels from the week before Thanksgiving, I had the opportunity to meet @papa-pepper and his family in person. Our meeting wasn't about crypto or content creation, but he did give me a gift of some of his Ghost Peppers. To find out more about them, watch a video that he recently shared:

I like spicy foods, but this pepper is beyond the normal range of spicy. I decided to use just a tiny bit when making an omelet for my wife and I to enjoy.
That's really me cooking
My wife @chanel is an excellent cook, but my omelet making skills rival hers (healthy competition).
The red peppers you see in the closer shot of the cast iron pan are not the Ghost Peppers. They are red bell peppers. I sauteed a tiny bit of Ghost Pepper in butter with mushrooms and onions, then added other vegetables including the red bell pepper and broccoli. Cheddar cheese is on the top, then folded to the middle.
The omelet was delicious. It wasn't super spicy, as I didn't put that much of the Ghost Pepper in, but the hint of flavor from them throughout the omelet, mixed with the other vegetables and cheese was excellent.
I dried the rest of the Ghost Peppers for later use with our food dehydrator.
I was excited to meet @papa-pepper
It was great to meet someone "in real life" that I had known on Steemit and Whaleshares. Our families were able to talk and spend time together. I found that @papa-pepper and I have quite a few things in common.
Overall, it was a very good experience and I'm glad that The Peppers took the time to go out of their way to meet us (they drove over two hours!). I feel more connected with this community. When I see one of @papa-pepper's posts now, I can say "Hey, I know that guy!"
I'm very thankful to have found Whaleshares and to be a part of this growing community.

Cooking competition update:
@chanel just used the dried Ghost Peppers in an omelet. She accidentally put "too much" in. It was awesome spicy and way better tasting than mine was!
