We are having a Sunday afternoon braai today (what a SHOCKER!!! haha) and one of Dave's FAVOURITE things to do on the braai is tabasco chicken drumsticks. Tabasco is a deliciously hot pepper sauce and in the preparation you have to become somewhat of a "meat masseuse" as you really need to rub it in well on the chicken - and preferably let it sit for a GOOD few hours before braaing it. And because we are going HOT, I figured it would make sense to hit the other side of the spectrum too with something to cool down the playing field haha!

so getting to the cooler aspects...

There are MANY cool down sides which you can make to accompany hot and spicy dishes but this one has absolutely GOT to be one of my all time favourites - coupled with the fact that it is ultra easy and requires very few ingredients - and if you are a coriander lover then you have met your match! haha - (Coriander - AKA - cilantro / dhanya / Chinese parsley)

All you need is...

chutney
italian / baby tomatoes
coriander
water

(sorry for all of you that do not live in SA and don't have Mrs.Balls hehe)

Alternatively, you can use something like a sweet chilli sauce or something similar.

All you need to do is...

Slice the baby tomatoes in half and throw them into a bowl. Then take about a handful of fresh coriander, chop roughly, and add to the bowl too. (complicated stuff isn't it!) haha! Add about two dessert spoons of chutney (or your alternative) to the bowl, and then about three dessert spoons worth of cold water, just to slightly thin the chutney. (you still following?!) haha - Stir - and you are done!!!

I promise you - you will LOVE this!
