Santa’s Trash Cookies
Ingredients:
¾ Cup unsalted Butter (room temp)
½ Cup granulated Sugar
½ Cup Brown Sugar
1 large Egg
2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
2 ¼ Cup all-purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
¼ teaspoon Salt
1/3 Cup Potato Chips (crushed)
1/3 Cup Pretzels (crushed)
¼ Cup semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
¼ Cup Holiday M&Ms
3 Tablespoons Holiday sprinkles
Flaky sea salt, for garnish
Preheat oven to 350ºF and line two cookie sheets with parchment. In a large bowl cream together butter and both of your sugars until light and fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla. In another large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix until smooth. Gently stir in potato chips, pretzels, chocolate chips, M&Ms and sprinkles. Make tablespoon size balls of dough. Slightly press them down onto the cookie sheet and sprinkle with sea salt. Top them with extra crushed potatoes chips, crushed pretzels, chocolate chips, M&Ms, and sprinkles. Bake until edges are just starting to get golden, 7 to 8 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool 2 to 3 minutes, then transfer to cooling rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
