💪 Day 41 of 80 Day Obsession Workout Program💪


Well, Day 41 in the books, another hard one! The sliders were included today along with weights today. Was a lot of hard work as you will see in the gifs below, but I push through it. Was quite challenging but I pushed through, did a modified when I needed to to get the job done. And when I finished it just made me happier even if I had to do an easier version of certain moves.

😵Total Body Core Means Lunge Time with Hammer Curls, Oh My!😵



Lunges are challenging! Especially when you add hammer curls to them! But I pushed through and I finished it which made me proud of myself. I have always struggled with this move, but the moves you hate make you stronger! At least that’s what I have been told.





Why Do I Hate Lunges? Especially One Wiith Hammer Curls?


My least favorite move to do for Total Body Core Day is low twisting lunges. I have always struggled with lunges. To add hammer curls is quite the challenge. So, I pushed through and got them done. I use to barely do a lunge and now my range of motion has improved! That makes me happy, not only can I do a lunge, but I can do it with a weight and a hammer curl. Phase one really helped me build up my strength. This move took it to the next level and still is hard as it was last week. This move I love to hate., I finish it, I'm like, yes I did it and it’s over.

😍Weighted Standing Torso Rotation, The Move I Love To Do😍



One move I love is in this whole routine is the Torso rotation! This routine was challenging. After doing this move, I thought to myself, Yeah I got this! Then I thought, who doesn't love this movement?!







Why Do I Love Weighted Standing Torso Rotation?


I would say my favorite move for Day 41, would be the Weighted Standing Torso Rotation, as you see in the gif above. I think I love it because it is one move I can do easily. It's not hard unlike the rest of this workout! It gives you time to collect yourself, but at the same time, you are still working! It’s empowering! Like yay, I can catch my breath finally!

Sliders Again Today? How Much Did I Have To Modify?

There were 3 moves with sliders quad ped opposite arm knee crunch, frog sliders, and French twist. For the quad ped opposite arm knee crunch, I took the sliders are out because I’m not strong enough to do that move with the sliders. I tried but failed. Basically, I take my right arm towards my left knee, which was the same move just without sliders and being in a bear position which is how I modified this move.

For the Frog sliders, I did the same move as the modifier, which made me feel proud of myself because I had to modify the modifier for the move before. For the French twist, I can’t do this move with the sliders, once again had to modify the modifier. Instead, I did a pike move. It is still challenging, but similar to a French twist. These days, I have modified more than usual. In the end, I finished all the moves and that’s what matters.

It was very challenging, especially with the three rounds and the weights being 10 reps. That was not easy! Not only were their weights today but sliders too! I thought I was slowly learning to love the sliders, they are still quite challenging. I do feel like phase 2, is a lot harder than I thought! The weight moves were challenging but doable, sometimes I had to give myself a few seconds to breathe and then hop into the move. There were times I wanted to give up ... However, I shall not give up and will always finish no matter how hard it is!

🌟 Woohoo I Survived The Workout🌟



I may be wiped out, but I am glad I finished. Even though I had to take a few breaks. At the end of the day, I finished my workout at my pace. I may not break any records but I am one step closer to achieving my goal to be at a more healthy weight!
