Why Do You Need Financial Abundance?

It Eliminates Rejection:

The Bible says the relative of the poor despise them and their friends rejects them. We need to be honest with ourselves, money helps a great deal. A lot of people would want to associate with you especially if you have more than enough. A lot of people would look you over at the very instant because you are judged based on your lack of affluence. We are not to desire wealth to prove a point to anyone but to eradicate that feeling of being overlooked and rejected which comes with not having or depending on others.

It Is Part of Our Redemptive Package:

Jesus went to the cross to pay the price for our sins, sicknesses and lack (poverty). We need to stop seeing poverty as a way of God testing us rather it's the devil's way of robbing us. God wants us to have abundance...for ourselves, for others and most importantly for His works.

The Bible verse that explains this is Jesus saying we need to heal the sick, make the lame walk and he said to the poor...spread the gospel. It means the power to overcome lack is also in the Bible.

It Is For Kingdom Expansion:

God wants you to prosper also so that you can be a blessing to the work of God. God's work requires us to give towards it especially in such a world that we live in. There are so many ways we can share the goodness and good news of God through our giving. It takes resources to fund the gospel and there are those whom God uses. We can be available for that use too.

You need to see beyond yourself and start seeing the world the way God would. As much as you can, try to put a smile on the face of people... Reach out to people... Help those who need help... Let people feel the love of God through you. Let others know God through you.

To Establish The Dominion of the Saint:

If you don't have money, you will be despised and you would be ignored. Imagine owing someone and you are inviting them to Church. How would they listen? If you lack, it's hard to ask people to come and see the goodness of God because they want to see that goodness on you first before they are attracted to you. When you have resources, you will have a say. When you have resources, protocols are broken for your sake. Imagine a whole meeting or a project being fixed only when you are available. That's the power of having...that's the power of living in abundance.

To Help The Needy:

If you don't have provisions for the poor, you have not started. If you don't have plans to help those you are better than, then how do you expect God to help you? Until you extend help to others, you haven't started. The thing is, there is always someone you are better than. There are those who wish to be in your position. When God gives you a bigger table, don't build a taller fence.

It's what you receive that you conceive. If you have the mind to help, God will always find a way to make provisions available to you. Receive the Word of God into your soul and then respond accordingly. Willingness and passion is not enough, add obedience to it. You have to respond to God's Word in obedience. Don't stop declaring God's Word. I know I am blessed. I cannot be poor or in lack. Declare it and know that whatever you call is coming. That's how faith is built. It builds you for the possibility of what can be. You say it and you become it. If you believe the Word of God, you will speak. You can't keep declaring things and start using your mouth to betray your words of faith that you declare.

Consistently say what God is saying and you will see what God wants you to see.
