Like in autumn we are met with brief showers and cold air temperatures almost every day, sometimes air temperature drops below zero and I have felt that winter is here and autumn is over...

It has also rained so much in Latvia these last few days that rural roads are flooded and some of them basically impassable.

Although there is enough work that can be done in rainy weather this is also the time on our farm when there is more and more free time. So what to do on rainy days so that free time is not wasted sitting at home in front of the TV? Let's try to find answers to this question!

Visit a cafe.

It's exciting to watch the streets and their overall landscape in the rain, and one of the places to experience this is in a cafe. Order coffee or tea, sit by the window, and see a new view that you may not have seen before. You don't always have to go to a cafe to eat - prepare a meal at home before visiting it. This will save you a lot of money. Of course, if your financial situation allows you to enjoy dinner outside your home, then you can do it to your heart's content, but if you live with such a monthly income that is not big enough to afford everything you want, sweet food or tea will be enough, a cup in a cozy backyard cafe.

Go to the library.

Since we live in the information age, where almost everything is available on the Internet, we forget about the library as a place to spend our free time. Why go to the library when I can also read magazines online? Of course, everyone decides how they will spend their free time, but maybe it is worth going to the nearest library and reading your magazine there? Excessive movements and being in the community will be good for the whole body, as well as the psychological and emotional state.

Visit a museum.

You will agree that a large number of people, especially young people, find visiting museums boring, because when they hear the word "museum", the first association is incomprehensible and boring paintings that cost huge money. In fact, a museum is a great place to spend your free time, because nowadays museums have become so diverse that everyone can choose the most appropriate one according to their interests - you just have to understand what you want to see. Of course, visiting museums can cost a lot (it all depends on the museum you choose), but it's worth it.

Game night with friends.

Do you remember the last time you played a game? This time we are not talking about games on your iPhone, Samsung, Huawei, or another smartphone. When did you play board or other fun party games? Invite your friends over, choose the most suitable games and spend a fun evening! As a result, you will be able to laugh heartily and then be amused for a long time after losing and having awkward moments during the games!

"I don't want to do anything"

It's completely normal that sometimes we don't want to go anywhere but stay at home. And sometimes you need that too! To make this stay at home more interesting, prepare glasses of wine with your loved one or best friend, light some candles, get under the covers and turn on the TV! Enjoying a good movie and wine will certainly not be a worse recreation than others! By typing the keywords you want into Google, you can find a movie of any genre that can make for an exciting evening without the extra cost of going to the cinema. Organize movie nights at home at any time of the day without additional costs!

There are different ways to relax during the rain - it all depends on your wishes and possibilities!
